Mototok offers a full range of fully-electric, towbarless, and remote-controlled aircraft tugs for almost all tasks in airport operations and almost every aircraft type in the aviation industry. Our different model series are specifically designed for different aircraft types and application areas. In this guide, we offer an overview of which Mototok aircraft tug is compatible with your aircraft.
Choosing the Right Aircraft Tug for Your Operations
Mototok tugs have several advantages compared to other aircraft tugs in the industry worldwide that make their acquisition a viable business case. With their towbarless design, remote-controlled precision, as well as fully-electric drive and zero emissions, these aircraft tugs outperform other tugs in terms of efficiency, aircraft safety, and sustainability.
In our blog post “A Guide to Choosing the Right Aircraft Towing Tools” we have discussed key criteria worth considering when selecting the right tug for efficient and safe aircraft handling:
- Precise maneuverability and ease of use
- Quick, safe, and simple connection to the nose gear
- Aircraft safety and minimized risk of injuries
- Hangar efficiency
- Low maintenance costs
- Sustainability
Further key criteria to consider when choosing the right aircraft tug for your ground handling operations are the applications area(s) as well as aircraft compatibility. So, let’s take a closer look at what Mototok models are compatible with what aircraft.
While the lists provided below are fairly extensive, they are not comprehensive. If your aircraft is not listed, check with us directly for the right Mototok model compatibility (Contact Mototok).
